A: I taught high
school history & LAw School.

a recruiter?
A: I became a recruiter
in 1973.
Q: Why did you become a recruiter?
A. Income &
career potential in developing people & outlook
Q: If you went out on your own as a recruiter what
prompted that decision?
A: A divorce(
my wife & I were in the same firm). Also, to get out of a body shop-
" when in doubt, send them out".
Q: Who were your role models and are
you mentoring others now?
A: Every agency
/recruiter in town,especially the big "DOGS." No I am not mentoring anyone
now, but have over the years.
Q: If you were asked what your job title is,
how would you respond?
A: I'm a
consultant/recruiter/ salesman/promoter, all in one.
Q: Is your primary job function sales
driven or recruiting driven?
A: About 50/50
most of the time.
Q: Why did you join USRC and what prompts you
to continue to be a member?
A:
I joined mainly because of several USRC members who,over the years, I had
worked and split fees with and these recuiters I consider friends, as well
as associates. My membership continues because it has brought me into alliances
with job orders and fellow USRC members that I did not know of previously
and the benefit of all the information that is beneficial to all members
who belong to USRC.
