Q: What did you do prior to becoming a recruiter?

A:  Prior to becoming a recruited, I had a short stint in outside sales after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree. I had done basic administrative work prior.

Q: What year (xx, xx, xxxx) did you become a recruiter?

A: I became a recruiter in 1991.

Q: Why did you become a recruiter?

A.   I decided to become a recruiter because I wanted a career in sales. I wanted to make money. And the manager that approached me was someone I trusted.

Q:  If you went out on your own as a recruiter what prompted that decision?

A:  I went out on my own because of lack of choices. I looked around and there was no one else for whom I wanted to work. I also had encouragement from an entrepreneurial friend.

Q:  Who were your role models and are you mentoring others now?

A:  My role model was the manager that hired me back in 1991. I am a mentor to any person who has ever worked for me. It is their choice to embrace the info. "Many are called, but few are chosen."

Q: If you were asked what your job title is, how would you respond?

A: Medical Sales Recruiter

Q:  Is your primary job function sales driven or recruiting driven?

A:  My job function is both sales and recruiting driven.

Q: Why did you join USRC and what prompts you to continue to be a member?

A:  I joined USRC to be connected to others in the same profession. Also - the benefits.
