Item Two: I would hope to
see as many USRN medical recruiters as possible attending this
year's Conference and Workshop. So the question is, what can we
do as a group or individually to foster that thought?
USRN member Gary Permian has pointed
out to the members in his Mastermind Group that one of most
important things you can do as a member is to attend, meet, and
develop long lasting business relationship with those you met at the
conference.

For the record, there were several
reasons I felt compelled to cancel last year's Conference and they
were
- lack of sufficient membership
support to hold a conference
- and absolutely no support from
the vendors.
Through the years, the vendors
support was critical in keeping the registration fees low.
I invited six vendors who had
traditionally participants in our conference to attend and
participate in this years conference.
If your are a realist, I think with
the economy and the decline in the number of viable recruiters in
play today, most our our vendors have given up on recruiters and are
concentrating concentrating their efforts on clients.
Item There: Late last summer
we talked about the feasibility of utilizing PCRecruiter, Sendouts
or booth as the engine to post our jobs to the US-Recruiters web
page and to any site that picks up RSS leads such as LinkedIn and or
Indeed. We began talking to PCRecruiter who came up with a program
and the we asked Sendouts to do the same. For whatever reason we
never heard back from Sendouts so if any one has any clout with
them, give them a jingle. I don't think we can change the above but
ai thought you should be aware what is going on.
Item Four: As many of you
may have noted, we recently introduced a new Strategic Business
Partner, Candidates Direct.
Candidates
Direct is a cost effective way to source list and names of in
all industries and get them implanted in your data base.

Five: Affective immediately all USRN members who send me a
picture will have their picture included in the their profile page.
The reason being we want to develop
a stronger and more personnel business relationship with our members
and knowing
what
the person looks like is a step in that direction.
Item Six: After
conducting several webinars with different factions of our membeship
several members expressed interest in my start up page and would
like to have me make one for their own. This is a small feature, but
it could be just another reason to belong to USRN

Item Seven: USRN member
Aaron Becker has asked to become a preferred vendor as well. For
those of you don't know who is he is Aaron is a medical recruiter in
Omaha, NE who also has developed a nationwide split network
exclusively for medical recruiters.

According to Aaron, the advantage of
his program is that it would expose your needs to peers outside of
our network. The annual fee to participate in his program, effective
March 31, 2010 will be $299.00 and any USRN member who sighs up
their cost will be $159.99. What I need to know from you is what
questions do I need to ask Aaron?
