In addition, he received
certification as a Certified Senior Account Manager,(CSAM) and was a
member of the CSAM advisory board. Rystrom was appointed by MRI
Corporate to be on the selection committee to study, review and
select the back-office software that MRI would utilize.
Rystrom is the founding father of "The
Acumen Society" (TAS) which evolved into US-Recruiters.com
(USRC) in the Spring of 1997.
US-Recruites.com was
disbanded in November in 2007 and a new legal enity was formed, that
being "The US-Recruiting Network" which better
represents the spirit and purpose of the organization.
If you ask Rystrom why he started
and continues to run US-Recruiters.com, he would tell you in one
word, PASSION! He will also tell you that since the industry was so
very good to him, he feels compelled to give something back to the
industry. Rystrom is quick to point out that the intent of USRC is
not for financial gain but to promote and advance the standards of
professionalism within the recruitment industry. Rystrom has two
principles that he beliefs in and follows. First he believes that
basically there are two types of people in this world, givers and
takers, and Bob's goal has always been to be a giver. Bob also
believes in simplicity and thus he believes life would be a lot
simpler if we all believed in and followed one simple rule, i.e. "do
unto to others as you want others to do onto you!'
Rystrom, being very appreciative for
the opportunities the industry presented him, strives to give
something back to the industry each and every day. His thoughts and
ideas have been featured in such publications as The Fordyce
Newsletter (TFL), the Twin Cities Today, the Minneapolis Star
Tribune, The St. Paul Pioneer Press, The City Register, and the MAPS
Newsletter. From 1992 until 2000, Rystrom served on the Board of
Directors or on the Advisory Board of MAPS." Rystrom has also
served the industry as a "expert witness" in client/recruiter
litigations cases; locally, regionally and nationally.
Rystrom is also the Founder and
President of Rystrom/CAIS - Communications and Affordable Internet
Services. CAIS provides T-3 connectivity (web hosting services) as
well as website design services and hosting.
- On December 5, 1997, Bob was
presented a "Life-Time Achievement Award" for his
contribution he made while he was a member of the Minnesota
Association of Professional Services (MAPS). The award was
particularly significant in as much it was the first "Life
Time Achievement Award" ever presented by the organization.
- On March 31, 1998, Bob became a
Life time member of the National Register of Who's Who.
- On September 24, 1999 Bob took
early retirement as a recruiter but he remains active within the
employment services industry via his association as Managing
Director of The US- Recruiters Network.

the
Recruiter
